Viscosity index improver

1. Introduction:

The product is mainly applied in improving and increasing lube oil viscosity.  It has a good compatibility with other additives, and it will have no side effect on other index.

  (1) Thickening ability: The thickening ability of Ethylene-propylene copolymer viscosity index improver varies with the brands. T-612 has a better thickening ability than other brands

 (2) Shearing stability: The performance of shearing stability varies with the volume of molecular weight and its distribution of width. T-614 is superior to  T-612、T-613.

(3) Thermal oxidation stability: The product of ethylene-propylene copolymer viscosity index improver shows an excellent thermal oxidation stability with heat-resistance and no decomposition under high temperature conditions.

 (4) Low temperature performance: T-614 shows a good performance under low temperature. There is little influence to the low temperature pumping performance of multi-grade lube oils by the single application of T-614, which is better than other brands of additives.

 (5) T-612A、T-613A、T-614A are all high-viscosity products which have particular excellent thickening ability; T-615A is also a high-viscosity product, which has better ability in thickening and shearing stability.

3. Applications, package and storage

 

1) T-612 is applied in marking the low grade lube oil thickened with the shearing stability lower than other brands of improvers, which is more often used in production of unipolar low-grade oil;

T-613 is suitable for thickening the moderate and low grade lube oils;

T-614、T-615 are applied in improving the viscosity indexes of moderate and high grade lube oils and making them thickened with an excellent shearing stability, chiefly preparing the lube oils for high grade multi-stage internal combustion engines.

2) Package: Keep it away from rain, heat and fire source.

3) Storage: 170 kg / barrel net, upon customer’s demand.
